Environmental and Social Governance

ETHICAL COMMITMENTS

At Carbon Collectives, we’re committed to integrity, transparency, and accountability in everything we do. All staff, board members, and partners are expected to act professionally, respect human rights, and comply with Zambian law and international standards. We promote inclusivity, non-discrimination, and confidentiality across all project activities in both Dongwe and Kabompo Community Carbon Projects

ANTI- CORRUPTION & BRIBERY POLICY

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy on bribery, fraud, and corruption. No unlawful payments or gifts are accepted or permitted, and all financial transactions must be documented and transparent. Any attempt to influence decisions through improper means will result in disciplinary action. We provide secure channels for whistleblowers and protect all reports from retaliation.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

We require full disclosure of any personal or financial interests that could affect decision-making. Staff and board members may not use their roles for personal gain, and must step aside from decisions where a conflict exists. Undisclosed conflicts can result in removal from duties or legal consequences.

ACCOUNTABILITY AND REPORTING

We encourage a culture of ethical responsibility. Violations of this policy can be reported confidentially to the Board or our compliance team. All reports are investigated, and necessary action is taken. Our policies are reviewed annually to reflect the highest standards of governance.
